PROVIDENCE POWER YOGA

It is the mission of Providence Power Yoga to provide expert yoga instruction in a safe, inclusive environment to clients in any phase of their yoga practice from the very beginner to seasoned practitioner. From early morning sunrise yoga to later evening yoga for night owls, our variety of class offerings and times allows our clients the ability to stay motivated and committed to their practice. While yoga is an individual practice our studios were built on bringing our community together through encouragement and support. Our New Client Welcome Pass is a great place to start to try different class types and times to find what meets your practice needs.

This week we have two poses we are focuses on - Urdhva Hastasana and Tadasana. Honor the complexity of these two simple postures. Mastering the actions of both of these foundational poses will help move you into more advanced postures.

This simple-sounding pose is more difficult than you might realize. The body can cause distractions that make it a challenge. Your body might feel cold, itchy, or unsettled. Savasana occurs at the end of the yoga practice to remedy this obstacle. By the time you’ve completed asanas, or postures, your body and mind should be tired enough to be able to relax sufficiently for Savasana. https://bit.ly/30di5zg

This week our study in the Yamas will focus on Satya - truthfulness. The Buddha taught, “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” #pvdyoga #yoga #yama #yamasandniyamas #yogasutras #truth
