Erica Douglass

After taking her first yoga class Erica was instantly hooked. The clarity and mindfulness along with a powerful workout kept her coming back for more, and ignited a passion in her to share this love for Yoga with others. Erica completed her 200-hour teacher training at Yoga One, a Live Love Teach affiliate studio. She loves the idea of Yoga as a practice where the learning never stops. Erica enjoys teaching classes where students are encouraged to go beyond what they think is possible so they leave feeling empowered, energized, and rejuvenated. She strives to create a class vibe where breath and flow combine to create a beautiful release of tension, stress and worry. Creative, challenging sequences help students get out of their heads and connect to body and mind.

  • Vinyasa is a popular style of yoga that seamlessly links breath with movement. It is often referred to as ‘flow yoga’ or ‘meditation in motion’ because of the smooth way in which the poses transition from one to another, almost like a dance. These classes will offer a challenging flow usually with longer holds but always with a focus on breath and movement. We will flow through fun, creative, and at times unexpected sequences that bring the breath along for the ride. We will leave plenty of room to refine alignment, experiment with variations, and get acquainted or reacquainted with the more subtle aspects of the practice.
    All levels are welcome and supported! The room will be heated to approximately 90 degrees with a comfortable level of humidity.
