    COST:  $220 for whole weekend or $60 per class
    Friday - 5:30 - 8:30 pm
    Saturday & Sunday -  10:00 am - 1:00 pm & 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
     
    This 15 hour course lays the foundation to understand and teach movement.  It is a must for yoga teachers and serious students wanting to adopt a common language to understand movement and communicate movement principles.  We'll study the bones, the types of joints, the movement capacities for each joint and put it all together in an integrated way for asana practice geared towards inner awareness, stable alignment and easeful movement.  
     
    Participants will:
    • learn the anatomy of the bones and joints
    • learn the available movement of each joint space
    • learn the anatomical language for movement
    • learn the archetypal shapes for asana and how anatomical difference affect those shapes
    • cover a broad spectrum of movement types and directionalities
    • learn techniques for teaching and practicing movement and asana 
    • learn variations of poses and alignment

    Sunday AM - The Spine & Head
