    September 8-10 & September 15-17
    5:30-8:30 pm - Fridays
    9:30-12:30 pm & 1:30 & 4:30 pm - Saturdays & Sundays

    Ideal for serious students of yoga, aspiring teachers, or current teachers we will dive into the stillness practices of body and mind using the Taoist lens of yin and yang qualities. Weaving together mindfulness, anatomy, asana, and some elements of oriental medicine we will both experience the practices and explore the theories behind them. Students will learn:
    • about yin vs. yang practices (and gradients between)
    • how yin tissues differ from yang tissues and how to work with them
    • how to teach yin yoga
    • sequencing yin poses for class
    • how to adapt postures for different bodies, and injuries
    • about the meridian system of Chinese medicine
    • about the physical and energetic qualities of the organs related to meridians
    • how to weave mindfulness and meditation practices in the asana

  • SINGLE SESSION:  $50
