Jillian Bekke

Jillian is a certified Yoga Sculpt teacher through CorePower Yoga. After discovering yoga eight years ago as a restorative form of exercise following four years of college volleyball, she quickly discovered the total realm of benefits this practice can provide. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Kinesiology and is fascinated with the study of the body through movement. She has a deep connection with music and the effects it has on her practice in both Sculpt classes and Vinyasa Flow. She was drawn to teaching Yoga Sculpt classes for the energy provided through the combination of music and a whole-body workout, while maintaining traditional yoga principles. When she isn’t in the studio, she can be found fighting for mat space with her two dogs while practicing in her living room."

  • Yoga Sculpt (PPY)
  • Yoga Sculpt classes are a total body workout, set to energizing music and designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. This class complements your regular yoga practice while boosting your metabolism and bringing your strength and flexibility to new heights. Free weights are added into the yoga sequence, creating resistance and intensifying each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass. You will see visible results in your body.

    PLEASE COME TO CLASS PREPARED TO SWEAT. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU BRING A BOTTLE OF WATER TO KEEP YOU HYDRATED DURING AND AFTER CLASS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU COME TO CLASS HYDRATED AS WELL.
